~About Crystal AB What is it?~
What is AB beads? (Aurora Borealis) and it's one of the most popular Swarovski® crystal coatings. It gives off a beautiful shimmering rainbow, or mother-of-pearl effect. These special coatings are bonded chemically to the outer surface of the Swarovski® crystals for a more brilliant effect.

Aurora Borealis 'AB' is not a color but special coating finish, Aurora Borealis is available on many of the most popular crystal colors
Aurora Borealis finish, not only increases the brilliance of each crystal, this special application also produces color changes, as a direct result of variations, in the quality of light that falls upon it.

The 'Aurora Borealis' coating itself, consists of a metallic finish applied to a crystal surface using water. A very thin metallic particle sheen is adhered to the glass resulting in a significant enhancement to the crystal's overall brilliance and dramatic color changes.

These chromatic variations are dependant on the underlying crystal color and their intensity is affected by background light conditions. Spectral effects similar to those created when sunlight falls on oily water can also be seen.

The color variations range through the spectrum from light, almost imperceptible, blues to the deepest warm hues. The actual visible color changes depend greatly on the individual crystal cut, dimensions and color choice, as well as ambient light conditions but in general, darker backgrounds, tend to produce warm 'fire-like' colors, oranges, yellows, gold, reds and ambers. While in contrast, 'light' conditions produce ethereal blues, greens, lilac, purple and tones with a sense of unbounded 'space'. When applied to each crystal color particular specific variations can be seen, but in all, the 'Aurora Borealis' finish results in a stunning and brilliant display.

~Finest Quality Ingredients~
I make my suncatchers with 100% SWAROVSKI CRYSTALS unless otherwise stated. Which at this time I do not have any other brand of crystals that I am selling.

-Top Quality Beading Wire-
I use nylon coated kink free 49 strand silver pearl beading wire and on larger ones a thicker nylon coated beading wire, all wire is sting and I use a professional quality Name Brand Beading Wire. This is professional quality beading wire and drapes wonderfully and is very attractive. The home style sun catchers that are quite long the strand is completely covered so that wire is of a different brand and color than the brand I use for charms and are shorter. The longer suncatchers beading wire is a silver clear, but it won't be seen except at the top where the silver hook is. 

-Out Door Use-
*I do show many photos of angels hanging outside, but I would not personally hang them there other than for photographic purposes. The wire on those is not as thick as larger heavier crystals and cannot withstand the elements of outdoors. Just be careful wherever you hang them and use common sense and remember accidents happen so be sure to treat your crystals with care and clean them with a kleenex when they get smudges or dirty. The soft kleenex brand not the cheap abrasive brand.
*If you are going to use the suncatchers outdoors for a wedding or an event be sure to bring them back indoors when you are finished with your event. Do not leave your crystals hanging outside for any longer than the day of an event. Mother nature is very unpredictable. 

-My Crystal Travels-
I put crystal suncatchers in my car and have traveled from CA to Oregon,Washington, Canada, Wyoming, Montana, Arizona, Idaho, Nevada and they are still perfect except for little nicks from hitting the windshield on those crazy bumpy roads. I would suggest however if you are driving through bumpy roads and bad conditions you temporarilly remove your crystals until you are in normal driving conditions again. 

-Silver Hooks are Best See Why-
I use a silver round hook on the longer style sun catchers, this allows the sun catcher to move more freely than it I just used a simple loop. It allows it to twirl much better, so therefore you get more rainbows. The slightest activity of wind or movement from the circulating air causes the sun catcher to move more freely because of the metal on a hook moves more free then if wire was just hung on a hook. It also prevents tangles more as well.

~Other Items I make~
Jewelry and or crochet and felt flowers are another passion of mine. From time to time I will add to my shop, mini quilts, crochet items and felt flowers and more. I always use the finest materials to make my home-made crafts.

~Wholesale~
First off (please note I do not do wholesale), lately I have had way to many emails asking me if I can sell wholesale if they buy a few items. The answer to this is no. The reason I cannot sell wholesale to you is because I buy wholesale and sell retail pricing. I am not a wholesale supplier. Wholesale is when you purchase normally over a $1000.00 of product. But not when the product is also being handmade for you as well. If you want wholesale you will need to search out wholesale using Etsy site or Google. I cannot give you wholesale on the beads and my work. The beads are one thing, but on my work that is not something I am willing to do is cheapen my time to create and make and purchase the supplies needed to make my designs. This all takes a lot of time. As much as I love doing it I cannot do it for free.
